Children's Book Week moves to May
Children's Book Week moves to May!
In 2008 Children's Book Week will be in May, from the 12 - 18th.
Children's Book Week introduces young people to new authors and ideas in schools, libraries, homes, and bookstores. Through Children's Book Week, the Children's Book Council encourages young people and their care givers to discover the complexity of the world beyond their own experience through books. Children's Book Week was observed this year, November 12-18, 2007.

Young Adults fiction - Childrens Books
This will be an information blog concerning children's and Young Adults books and related information.
We will offer picture book recommendations as well as recommendations for Young readers. We can also offer links to web sites of interest to Children and Parents alike.
Our first book of note, that will be released soon, is called West of Noreaso. This is a book that boarders the fine line between a Children's book and that which might appeal to a Young reader. The book has several illustrations peppered throughout not so many that it is itself a picture book by any means.
To see samples of the story, flip through some of the illustrations and study the map of West of Noreaso follow the link below!
